Authorities in Michigan are investigating the tragic deaths of Cameron and Courtney Hulet, who were discovered deceased at their residence in Dundee. According to reports from the Daily Mail, the couple was found at their kitchen table, apparently preparing to have dinner from Taco Bell when they suddenly collapsed.

The alarm was raised by a concerned neighbor who had visited the Hulets around 9 PM and later returned to find them in the same position. Law enforcement responded to the scene upon her call.

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of death for 20-year-old Courtney and 28-year-old Cameron. Toxicology tests and autopsy results are pending.

“It’s really a puzzle,” said Dundee Village Manager Dave Uhl to the Monroe Evening News. “There is no indication as to what happened. It’s a mystery.”

Cameron was discovered lying on his side, while Courtney was found face-down. Police discovered a quantity of marijuana on the kitchen table near their bodies. According to officials, their meal was untouched, and the marijuana appeared to be in the process of being divided for distribution.

Authorities noted no signs of obvious injury or forced entry into the home, and they do not suspect foul play or involvement of a third party at this time. Chief Todd Opperman mentioned that Child Protective Services had recently removed two young children from the couple’s residence. The Hulets had only been living in Dundee for six weeks.

Cameron had a criminal history that included charges related to marijuana possession and assault, according to reports.
