Tori Spelling recently expressed deep gratitude for having had the opportunity to speak with Shannen Doherty before her passing. On the latest episode of her “90210MG” podcast, which she co-hosts with Jennie Garth, titled “Remembering Shannen Doherty,” Spelling described their conversation as a “second chance.”
“I’ve experienced a lot of loss throughout my life,” Spelling reflected. “While I usually avoid dwelling on regrets, I often wished for one last conversation to clear the air and focus on the positive memories. With Shannen, I had that opportunity, and I’m profoundly thankful for it.”
Although Spelling did not disclose the specifics of their final talk, she admitted she wasn’t fully ready to discuss her friend’s death but felt it was necessary for their fans.

Spelling also reflected on their off-screen experiences while working on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
“I remember our first scene together at Mary Ann Moore’s party,” Spelling said. “It was a night shoot, and it felt like the beginning of our genuine friendship. It was more than just acting; you both made me feel warmly welcomed, which was significant.”
Garth added, “That night was enchanting. We laughed and filmed until dawn. For us teenagers, it felt like an extraordinary party.”
